There was no battle for the win in KF3 at La Conca, but rather for the allocation of the places of honor as it was unclear who could challenge the supremacy of Max Verstappen and his CRG / Maxter. In contrast his teammate Antonio Fuoco started from the back of the grid following his error in the pre-final. Paolo Ippollito (Tony Kart / Vortex) was in the second place, Nicolas Beer (Tony Kart / Vortex) 3rd, Matthew Graham (Birel / BMB) 4th and Esteban Ocon (Intrepid / TM) 5th. Verstappen was in the lead as usual after the start, followed by Graham and Ippolito, but Ocon completed the 1st lap in second position before Beer, Slavko Ivanovic (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Graham. Ippolito dropped to 21st in the confrontation.
Beer and Ivanovic captured 2nd and 3rd position is from Ocon who was stuck in traffic and dropped to 8th. Now 4th, Graham was hounded by Nicklas Nielsen (DR / Parilla). Fuoco was already in 16th position. Nielsen found himself fourth after passing Graham.
Verstappen was racing on his own at the front and set the fastest time. Ocon took 6th after taking the Spanish driver Toril. He was however far from 5th, Graham. Fuoco retired. Beer was always under threat from Ivanovic for second place, Nielsen controlled Graham for 4th. Ocon was now hounded by Balsamo for 6th.
Max Verstappen won an indisputable victory. Ivanovic took second position to the detriment of Beer. Nielsen finished 4th in front of Graham, Ocon, Balsamo, Toril, Van Meever and Vita. It was a tough race for the French drivers Victor Compere in 19th and Hubert Petit 23rd.
